Preparing to move to the new data collection platform
When you next log in to Gabriel you will be asked to register for the new platform as a one-off activity. Only link your own personal Connect and Gabriel accounts. If you do not have a Connect account, including if you are a Compliance Consultant, please register for a new Connect account. After completing this registration process, continue to report in Gabriel using your existing Gabriel login details. We will inform you of your moving date for the new data collection platform in good time. Whilst we understand this is a difficult time for firms dealing with the impact of coronavirus (covid-19), we are moving forward with a simple but key step.
The UK has left the EU, but EU law continues to apply until the end of the implementation period agreed under the Withdrawal Agreement between the UK and the EU. The FCA's Interpretative Guide on completing forms does not apply during the implementation period and we have not amended our forms. Please complete forms as previously until further notice.

New ‘Add Firm to Group Submission’ function - 16 September 2019
A new ‘Add Firm to Group Submission’ function has been introduced which permits firms to amend a group data item submission retrospectively to correct a group reporting error. This enhancement removes the need for firms to complete a resubmission or contact the FCA to resolve group reporting errors. The function can be accessed by reviewing a data item on a firms submission history and can be utilised for all data items that support group reporting.
New Data Reference Guide Launched
A new search-based Gabriel Data Reference Guide (DRG) is now available on the on the FCA website. To make finding items as user-friendly as possible, we have updated the DRG to utilise a searchable table for all documents and undertaken housekeeping to remove older items. Please note, existing bookmarks to items may cease to function in the near future and we would therefore recommend bookmarking the DRG homepage to source all items.
Complaints reporting on MiFID activities
Firms who undertake MiFID activities are required to report information on complaints received from eligible counterparties, professional clients and retail clients if they are in relation to MiFID activities. This information should be reported in the Complaints DISP1 Ann1R report. More information can be found on this page.
